February 2, 2007: Salmonella Hotline Set Up In Kentucky

Cochise County in Kentucky has set up a hotline to help track down individuals who have been affected by Salmonella food poisoning. Since last September, 48 people have been diagnosed with the disease, but the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have been unable to determine the source of this food poisoning outbreak.

The hotline can be accessed at 1-520-432-9405. Salmonella food poisoning symptom screening and free testing at the state lab are also available through the hotline.
