B&M Inc. of Vernon, Missouri, has announced the recall of O Organics Organic Celery Seed on December 16, 2011, because of the threat of a contamination from the organism, Salmonella. This product is sold throughout the country at Safeway-owned stores including Safeway, Carrs, Dominick’s, Genuardi’s, Pak ‘N Save, Pavilions, Randalls, Tom Thumb and Vons.
The recalled organic celery seed is packaged in 1.8 oz glass bottles and have a UPC code of 0-7989341124-8. The recalled product was sold between May 25, 2011 and December 16, 2011.
