July 22, 2009: Salinas, California Company Recalls Romaine Lettuce

Tanimura & Antle have issued a press release that one lot of whole head romaine lettuce has been recalled due to possible contamination with Salmonella.  The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture notified the company after conducting tests on the product.
