July 6, 2009: Dunkin’ Donuts Involved In Beverage Recall

Dunkin’ Donuts, Canton, MA, announced that it is temporarily halting the sale of its hot chocolate and Dunkaccino products in all of its 6,400 stores due to possible Salmonella contamination. 

The ingredients involved, instant nonfat dry milk and whey protein, were manufactured and distributed by Plainview Milk Products Cooperative, Plainview, MN, which announced its own recall on June 28, 2009, (see Plainview Milk Salmonella Recall.)
